In the midst of the day, her body becomes weary,
Lacking strength, she feels dreary and a little teary.
Even a caffeine spike couldn’t revive her spirit,
Fatigued and heavy, she can’t help but feel it.

Body feel’s like lead, nothing but dread in her head,
Her Languid eyes are losing the fight,
In a silent struggle, her head feels light.
With each tick, her resolve fades.

The defiance, a diminishing struggle,
her thoughts are blurry, the fuel won’t ignite,
Exhausted, and drained, yet still tries to fight
But with every tock, her will weakens.

Give in to the urge to rest your eyes, Let weary limbs surrender,
Picture a plush pillow stuffed with soft feathers,
Embrace the embrace of slumber, and discover your release,
A temporary respite, a token of peace.

Thank you for visiting and reading.
Your claps and support mean a lot to me.
