Run little one

Turning a blind eye won’t make it go away,
The pain you caused is here to stay,
Deep down you know what you did,
The sorrow you created,
The pain you inflicted.
It still lingers in the shadows,
Waiting,
Keep that fake smile,
Play the victim,
Manipulate them all,
Spew whatever lies you wish,
Do what you can to hide,
Run as fast as your legs take you,
Eventually it will come back,
It will catch up to you one day.
The demons you summoned,
It will come for you,
It has your nametag,
Escape whilst you can,
If you’re able.
Pretend for as long as possible,
Hide who you are,
It will still come,
It will not stay hidden forever.
Nor can you.
